Problems with the Sleep Inn and credit fraud?
This morning I received a call from my credit card company about $700 in suspicious purchases made from an address in Nebraska. I didn't make the purchases and after having my account closed it doesn't look like I'll be liable for any of the purchases.
The only credit card transaction I have made in that area since RAGBRAI of last year was with the Sleep Inn to reserve a room for this year's ride. This leads me to believe my credit card information was stolen from the Sleep Inn. Has anyone else already reserved their room and/or had suspicious charges show up?
